The turrets may be a bit jumpy, and MOI data is still incomplete.  Model is otherwise stable and fully functional, not to mention extremely powerful.

Unzip the files to the appropriate directories in your Freespace 2 Data directory and add the following to the weapons.tbl and ships.tbl files.
